Author at tech media

The team is looking for an author to create technology content for the employer's Telegram channel.

What you'll do

• Search for current topics in technology
• Write news, explainers, and short analytical pieces
• Come up with non-standard content formats
• Use Telegram features to engage the audience
• Develop game mechanics, polls, contests, and interactive formats
• Monitor the tech agenda and trends
• Participate in editorial calls and brainstorms
• Work with editors, designers, and the project team

What we need

• Good understanding of technologies, gadgets, AI, or robotics
• Explain complex topics in simple and clear language
• Independently find interesting news pegs
• Come up with formats that work in Telegram
• Write quickly, correctly, and engagingly
• Understand content specifics for social media and messengers

Nice to have

• Experience in social-first media
• Experience creating content for Telegram channels
• Familiarity with tech media landscape
• Experience with interactive formats and engaging content
