Legal Counsel (iGaming / Gambling)

An iGaming company is looking for a Legal Counsel to handle full legal support: contracts, payments, compliance, licensing, and internal documentation. We need an independent specialist who can build a legal system from scratch. Fully remote, salary from $3,500.

What you'll do

• Drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts with PSPs, payment providers, game providers, aggregators, SaaS providers, B2B and affiliate partners.
• Handling contracts for fiat and crypto payments.
• Preparing NDAs, DPAs, amendments, terminations, and other legal documents.
• Legal support for onboarding new PSPs and liaising with their legal/compliance teams.
• Preparing and updating AML/KYC policies, Risk Assessments, and other compliance documents.
• Developing and updating Terms & Conditions, Bonus Rules, Responsible Gaming Policy, Privacy Policy, Geo-restrictions, and disclaimers.
• Legal review of new products, bonus mechanics, marketing activities, and affiliate tools.
• Supporting Anjouan licensing through agents.
• Preparing corporate documents: UBO, resolutions, Power of Attorney, etc.
• Working with banks, EMIs, and other financial institutions.
• Preparing service agreements for employees and contractors.
• Preparing NDAs for employees.
• Handling contracts for current staff: amending terms, addendums, terminations, and other employment legal matters.
• Developing internal regulations for contract preparation, approval, and signing.
• Creating a unified process for storing and tracking contract documentation.
• Developing internal legal regulations, policies, and instructions.
• Advising management and teams on current legal matters.
• Assessing legal risks of business and product decisions.
• Liaising with external lawyers, consultants, licensing agents, and counterparties.

What we need

• 3+ years of experience as Legal Counsel / lawyer in iGaming / Gambling.
• Practical experience with PSPs / payment providers.
• Knowledge of fiat and crypto payments specifics.
• Understanding of AML / KYC / Compliance processes.
• Experience with affiliate model and affiliate agreements.
• Experience drafting and reviewing commercial contracts.
• Experience with internal company documentation and employee contracts.
• Understanding of international corporate structure and licensing.
• English C1/C2.
• Ability to handle tasks independently and make decisions.
• Systematic approach, attention to detail, and high responsibility.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and find practical business solutions.

• Experience with Anjouan / Curaçao / offshore licenses.
• Experience with crypto payments.
• Experience working with banks and EMIs.
• Experience in startups or fast-growing international companies.
• Experience building a legal function and contract processes from scratch.
