Head of Farm (Facebook) for a traffic arbitrage team

Employer   Location   —

The employer is looking for a Head of Farm Department for a traffic arbitrage team with 60+ media buyers. The role requires building a system for producing and distributing Facebook accounts, ensuring stable access to quality accounts, and managing a team of 30+ people.

What you'll do

  • Manage the Farm Department and a team of 30+ people, build processes, KPIs and areas of responsibility
  • Organize stable production and distribution of accounts to meet the needs of 60+ media buyers
  • Own account quality, their LTV, limits, trust and ban rate
  • Build SLAs for account distribution and a reserve system so Facebook changes don't halt traffic
  • Manage both internal farming and external supply: purchase accounts, control quality and delivery terms
  • Work with vetted suppliers and develop a base of new sellers and agencies
  • Negotiate pricing, volumes and replacement terms for defective accounts
  • Own farm infrastructure: anti-detect browsers, proxies, SIM cards, domains and other consumables
  • Understand where and which payment instruments can be obtained, their cost, and how to use them in farm processes
  • Organize prompt support for media buyers: quickly resolve account issues, find causes of bans and provide working solutions
  • Analyze Facebook changes and promptly restructure processes for new conditions
  • Manage farm unit economics: account cost, LTV, ban rate, production cost and overall direction efficiency

What we need

  • Proven experience managing a farm department of 30+ people or a comparable operational process
  • Deep hands-on understanding of Facebook and farming, not only at a management level
  • Understanding of farm economics: account LTV, acquisition and production cost, ban rate, cost and payback
  • Ability to build KPIs, SLAs and a reserve system, not just monitor task completion
  • Current experience with Facebook storms and ability to quickly restructure processes
  • Strong base of vetted account suppliers and ability to find new ones independently
  • Understanding of procurement: prices, quality, volumes, replacement terms and supplier control
  • Understanding of farm technical infrastructure: Dolphin, AdsPower, mobile and residential proxies, SIM cards, domains and other consumables
