Payment Monitoring Specialist

The employer is looking for a Payment Monitoring Specialist to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes on a high-load platform. The role involves transaction monitoring, real-time anomaly detection, and liaison with payment providers. Remote work, night shifts.
What you'll do
- Monitor the correctness of transactions between the platform and payment partners
- Monitor payments in real time and based on reporting periods
- Identify anomalies, delays, and failures in payment processing
- Monitor the availability of payment gateways and services
- Promptly escalate critical incidents to developers, support, and other teams
- Interact with payment providers when issues arise
- Maintain incident reports and analyze root causes of failures
- Monitor compliance with SLAs from payment partners
What we need
- At least 1 year of experience in payments, fintech, or monitoring
- Understanding of the payment transaction lifecycle
- Knowledge of acquiring, payment systems, and banking infrastructure
- Skills in analyzing payment conversion and identifying reasons for declines
- Experience with monitoring systems, ticketing systems, and reporting
- Attention to detail and ability to respond quickly to incidents
Nice to have
- Experience in high-risk verticals
- Understanding of APIs and webhooks
- Experience in analyzing payment routing and payment conversion
