Vertical Video Editor

The company, a design team, is looking for a vertical video editor for social media. Remote work, part-time, pay 1500 RUB/hour. Requires experience editing Reels and proficiency in After Effects and Adobe Premiere.

What you'll do

• Edit vertical videos (Reels) for social media on design topics: cases, explanatory videos for designers, tool reviews.
• Work with ready-made materials: video, graphics, texts, and motion elements, carefully combining them within the video.
• Add subtitles, text animation, graphic elements, and transitions.
• Adapt ready-made visual and motion solutions to the short vertical video format.
• Monitor editing dynamics, pacing, and attention retention.
• Consider the specifics of the vertical format and safe zones for content placement on platforms.
• Prepare videos for publication in accordance with platform requirements.
• Work in After Effects and Adobe Premiere.

What we need

• Experience editing vertical videos for social media or experience in motion design with a good understanding of editing.
• Solid composition skills and the ability to complete a frame with graphics.
• Understanding composition basics: carefully placing text and graphic elements in the frame, considering visual hierarchy and safe zones of vertical formats.
• Ability to find expressive editing solutions and work with pacing, dynamics, and accents in video.
• Confident proficiency in After Effects and independent work with animation, graphics, and ready-made visual solutions.
• Ability to transfer techniques from motion design or other editing formats to vertical videos.
• Ability to work with ready-made materials and template solutions: adapt, combine, and reuse them for different tasks.
• Relevant works in portfolio: strong Reels or motion works with good editing and graphic elements.
• Willingness to understand the team's approach to editing and motion and, after initial immersion, apply it independently in work.
• High editing speed and ability to work efficiently with streaming tasks: no more than 5-7 hours per video depending on complexity.
• Experience with subtitles, text animation, and basic graphics.

Nice to have

• Skills in motion design and 2D animation creation.
• Experience with AI tools for editing.
• Ability to work in Adobe Audition and DaVinci Resolve.
