Team Lead for Payment Disputes and Fraud

A large international iGaming company is looking for an experienced Team Lead for Chargeback & Fraud to head the payment disputes and fraud prevention function with a focus on the Indian market. The role involves team management, developing antifraud rules, and liaising with banks and payment systems.

What you'll do

• Lead the full Chargeback & Fraud cycle for India, manage the team and control SLAs
• Develop antifraud rules and scoring based on data analysis
• Implement and improve KYC processes to reduce chargeback rates
• Monitor key fraud metrics and prepare reports
• Adapt processes to regulatory changes in India (RBI, Payment and Settlement Systems Act)
• Liaise with banks, PSPs and payment systems on dispute resolution
• Work with other teams to develop antifraud processes

What we need

• 3-5 years of experience with Fraud / Chargebacks in high-risk industries
• Mandatory experience with the Indian market
• Understanding of UPI, IMPS, Paytm, PhonePe and RBI requirements
• Experience managing a team or antifraud processes
• Proficient in SQL and Excel
• Strong analytical skills
• Conversational English

Nice to have

• Experience in Betting, Gambling or Forex
• Practical experience with BI tools
• Experience building fraud-scoring and automating antifraud processes
