Spy Analyst / Media Buying Analyst

A Fintech company is looking for an analyst to monitor spy services and collect data on advertising bundles. The analyst will structure information, identify patterns, and form hypotheses for media buying and creative teams. The company has over 50 own websites that it develops and monetizes.

What you'll do

• Monitor spy services, ad libraries, news sites, and other open sources daily.
• Collect data on successful bundles in different geos.
• Maintain and update tables for: geo; news sites; TV programs; hosts, celebrities, politicians/banking/financial figures; ad templates, angles, creatives, landing/pre-land pages; launch dates and bundle relevance.
• Search for recurring patterns: which personalities, topics, formats, and templates are most used in a specific geo.
• Generate hypotheses for media buying and creative teams.
• Note which bundles have been tested, which yielded results, which burned out, and which should be adapted for other countries.
• Prepare short analytical reports: what's active in geo, which topics are growing, which characters are used often, which templates to test.
• Monitor relevance of personalities: ensure bundles use recognizable and relevant people for the specific country.
• Help the team quickly find new bundle options to replace burnt-out ones.

What we need

• Proficient in Google Sheets / Excel.
• Able to structure large amounts of information.
• Attention to detail: names, countries, positions, sources, dates, links.
• Quickly search for information on the internet.
• Understand the logic of advertising bundles: geo → news site → program → host → celebrity/person → template → creative → landing page.
• Able to distinguish random data from recurring working patterns.
• English at the level of searching and understanding information.

Nice to have

• Preferably understand the basics of traffic arbitrage, spy services, nutra/financial/gambling approaches or similar verticals.
• Knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
