Legal Officer (IGaming)

The employer is looking for an experienced Legal Officer to handle legal, regulatory, and compliance matters in iGaming. The role involves strategy, licensing, contractual work, and leading the legal department.

What you'll do

• Legal strategy, corporate governance, interaction with investors and the Board of Directors.
• Licensing (MGA, Curacao, Anjouan, EU, Canada) + regulatory compliance (AML/KYC, GDPR/CCPA).
• Contractual work (B2B/B2C, affiliates, payments), M&A support, intellectual property and protection against clones/fraud.
• Litigation, international arbitration, coordination of external law firms.
• Formation and management of the legal department, team training.

What we need

• Mandatory experience in iGaming.
• Practical experience with licenses and regulators across various jurisdictions.
• Experience supporting international corporate structures.
• Experience with banking compliance, KYC/KYB and Due Diligence procedures.
• Strong skills in drafting and negotiating contracts.
• Fluency in English.

Nice to have

• Residence in Cyprus or willingness to relocate.
• Own professional network in the industry.
• Successful cases of obtaining licenses in various jurisdictions.
• Knowledge of MGA, Curaçao, UKGC and other regulator requirements.
