Financial Manager

A company seeks an experienced Financial Manager / FP&A Manager for an iGaming project. The role involves financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytics, as well as payment approval, bonus verification, and affiliate payments. The specialist will help the business make data-driven decisions and optimize payment expenses.

What you'll do

• Coordinate the preparation of annual, quarterly, and monthly budgets
• Develop and update financial forecasts and business plans
• Analyze plan vs actual and prepare variance comments
• Consolidate weekly budget updates
• Prepare management reports and analytical materials for management
• Analyze company financial performance and key business metrics
• Monitor expenses and compliance with approved budgets
• Conduct profitability analysis by products, projects, departments, and business units
• Build and maintain financial models for planning and decision-making
• Perform scenario analysis and assess financial impact of new initiatives
• Collect, verify, and consolidate financial data from multiple sources
• Identify financial risks, variances, and areas requiring management attention
• Work with department heads as a financial business partner
• Improve and automate financial planning and reporting processes
• Review and approve payment requests in internal systems
• Validate affiliate partner payments
• Calculate incentive payouts for VIP and Affiliate teams
• Verify bonus calculations for other departments as needed
• Analyze and optimize payment infrastructure costs
• Participate in improving payment routing and cascading strategies
• Prepare reports on payment provider efficiency and related costs

What we need

• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, controlling, or similar financial role
• Higher education in finance, economics, accounting, or related field
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
• Advanced financial modeling skills
• Proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets
• Ability to work with large data volumes and attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills and ability to find cause-and-effect relationships in numbers
• Understanding of cost control, profitability analysis, and financial KPIs
• Ability to clearly present financial conclusions to business stakeholders
• Good communication skills and experience working with stakeholders
• Ability to prioritize and work in a dynamic environment
• English at Upper-Intermediate level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience in iGaming, fintech, or digital space
• Understanding of affiliate models and performance-based payments
• Experience with payment service providers and payment analytics
• Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, and/or SQL
• Experience in automating financial processes and implementing financial systems
