Technical Writer

An international online project is looking for a technical writer to prepare and improve user documentation, instructions, and knowledge base. The role involves tracking product changes, analyzing information, and collaborating with colleagues. Remote work, official employment, and an extended benefits package are offered.

What you'll do

• Prepare, update, and improve user documentation, instructions, and knowledge base materials
• Independently track changes in products and processes, study new functionality, and update documentation in a timely manner
• Analyze information from various sources, structure it, and turn it into clear and logical materials for users with different levels of technical expertise
• Interact with colleagues from different departments to obtain necessary information and clarify details about products and processes
• Use AI tools to prepare, analyze, translate, and improve documentation, independently verifying the quality and correctness of the results
• Work with corporate tools and independently learn new services necessary for the job
• Participate in the development of the knowledge base and documentation processes
• Identify gaps and outdated information in documentation and propose ways to improve it

What we need

• At least 3 years of experience as a technical writer
• Ability to independently understand new products, processes, and tasks, find necessary information, and deliver results
• Analytical and systematic thinking, ability to structure large volumes of information and present it clearly
• High attention to detail and ability to notice errors, inconsistencies, and outdated information
• Ability to write clear and structured texts tailored to the audience's technical level
• Confident use of AI tools and understanding of their capabilities and limitations
• Proactivity and willingness to independently propose improvements to documentation, knowledge base, and processes

Nice to have

• Experience with technical documentation for IT products
• Experience with knowledge bases and document management systems
• Understanding of principles for structuring and maintaining documentation relevance
• Experience with corporate tools for documentation and task management
