Senior Backend Engineer (Distributed Systems & Institutional Scale)

The company is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with deep expertise in building distributed systems for a FinTech project. The product is a data-layer used by financial organizations, regulators, and institutional structures. Stack: Python (FastAPI), Kafka, event-driven architecture. Remote work, salary after interview.

What we need

• Proven 5+ years of experience in developing and operating production systems used by businesses or large organizations
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and their behavior under load
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar streaming systems
• Experience in backend development with Python (FastAPI or similar frameworks)
• Strong system design skills (performance, fault tolerance, scalability)
• Fluent English (team working language)
