Head of Legal (AdTech / ad networks / digital advertising)

An international product company in AdTech is looking for a Head of Legal to lead the legal function and act as a business partner to the team. The role covers supporting an international advertising business, advising on Cyprus, EU and US jurisdictions, and owning DSA, GDPR, compliance and moderation. Direct reporting to the CFO.

What you'll do

• Lead the legal function and grow the team
• Support the international AdTech business and new company projects
• Advise the business on Cyprus, EU, US and other jurisdictions
• Own DSA, GDPR, advertising law, compliance and moderation
• Handle corporate matters: legal entities, banks, KYC/QI, contracts
• Manage legal risks, including sanctions-related risks
• Support IP matters, tax incentives and IP Box
• Optimize legal processes using AI and automation

What we need

• Higher legal education
• Experience leading a legal team
• Experience in AdTech / ad networks / digital advertising
• Knowledge of Cyprus legislation
• Hands-on experience with DSA, GDPR and advertising regulation
• Understanding of advertiser / publisher / RTB models
• Experience with international legal entities, banks and KYC/QI
• English — B2 / C1 or above
• Willingness to use AI in legal work
